What an evaluation involves

A Komado Energy Advisor visits your home for a room-by-room assessment, a blower-door test to measure air-tightness, and a full inventory of insulation, windows, heating, cooling and hot water. The data goes into national energy-modelling software to produce your EnerGuide rating and a homeowner report.

Pre- and post-retrofit

Most rebate programs need two evaluations: one before any work (often called a D audit) to set the baseline and eligible measures, and one after (E) to confirm what was done and update the rating. We handle both and keep the file consistent between them.
